Our crew in North Palm Beach isn’t a rotating list of subcontractors. These are the same four people who show up to your house, pull the permit, and sign off on the photo record. What ties us together is the Haven Standard: every measurement written, every price fixed before the first tool comes out, and every job documented from first screw to final walkthrough. We’ve installed windows and doors from Juno Beach to Jupiter Island since 2012, and we’re the ones who answer for it afterward.

I started Sightline in 2012 after spending three years as a project manager for a regional window distributor where I watched customers get one price on the phone and another when the crew arrived. That gap between quote and invoice is why Haven Clause 1 exists: the measurement and the quote are the same document, and the customer keeps the original. I learned that the hard way on an early install in Palm Beach Gardens where I underestimated the structural header repair by $800. I ate the cost, changed the survey process to include a load-bearing check on every opening, and haven’t had a pricing surprise since. I still review every written quote before it leaves our office, and I personally handle any call that comes in after hours. My license number is on every permit we pull in North Palm Beach, and that’s how it should be.

Marcus has been with us since 2017 and holds the PGTI Master Installer certification, which means he’s qualified to sign off on impact-rated installations that other crews need a third-party inspector to close. Elena came to us in 2019 from a commercial glazing contractor in West Palm Beach where she spent six years installing curtainwall on high-rise projects. That background shows in her tolerance for precision: she measures every rough opening to the sixteenth, even when the existing frame looks square, because she’s seen too many “square enough” openings that leaked at the sill pan. Her specialty is custom and geometric windows, the triangular and radius units that arrive with no installation template. She fabricated her first custom jamb extension on a trapezoidal unit in a Lake Park remodel where the original builder had hand-cut the rough opening to fit a discontinued Andersen unit from the 1980s. Elena speaks Spanish with our Spanish-speaking customers, which matters more than you’d think when you’re explaining why a tempered glass upgrade is required within 24 inches of a door jamb. She has a standing order at the coffee shop on U.S. 1, and the barista knows her by her first name and her drink.
Darnell K., Service Coordinator
Darnell runs our scheduling, permit tracking, and customer communication from the office, but he started in the field as an apprentice installer in 2020, so he knows what questions to ask when a homeowner calls with a concern. He’s the person who confirms your appointment window by text, sends you the technician’s photo and license number before arrival under Haven Clause 3, and follows up with the documented photo record within 24 hours of job completion. Darnell tracks every permit submission in North Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, and Juno Beach, and he knows which inspectors want the flashing detail photographed before the window is set versus after. He keeps a whiteboard in the office with every active job’s status, updated by hand every morning, because he doesn’t trust software alone to catch a permit hold that could delay your install. He coaches youth basketball at the North Palm Beach Recreation Center, and he applies the same patience to explaining code compliance to a nervous homeowner that he uses teaching a fourth-grader to set a screen.
Jake R., Apprentice Installer
Jake joined us in 2023 after completing the construction program at Palm Beach State College, and he’s working toward his PGTI certification under Marcus’s direct supervision. Right now he’s our dedicated sealant and finish-carpentry specialist: he beds every window in the approved sealant, installs the interior trim to the written scope, and handles the final air-leak verification with a smoke pencil. Jake made his first solo sill pan installation on a PGT WinGuard unit in a Riviera Beach retrofit last spring, and Marcus documented the whole process for the photo record so we could review the corner folds together afterward. He’s learning to read a sightline measurement the way a finish carpenter reads a level, and he’s getting faster at it every month. Jake surfs Juno Beach before work when the swell is right, which means he’s occasionally the most relaxed person on a 7 a.m. job site.
